The USB 3.1 filter module with integrated ESD protection and EMI filter has been developed for installation in MTS Shielding Boxes, for example. It supports “Super Speed (Plus), High Speed and Full Speed” and is suitable for testing smartphones, tablets or similar devices with high data rates under shielded conditions. Passive filter elements are included in the scope of delivery.
The connections are USB 3.0 type A sockets.
There is also no need to attach several components and lay fiber optic cables, as only one filter module needs to be mounted on the chamber’s feed-through plate.
With dimensions of 71 mm x 33 mm x 31 mm (LxWxH), a FIL-USB-3.1-A filter module is not only smaller than competitor products, it is also fully backwards compatible with the older USB versions USB 2.0 and USB 1.0. The shielding is 80 dB typ. up to 6 GHz.
