Standard coupling field 0,7 – 6 GHz Air interface emulation

The test systems simulate a radio field between GSM/UMTS/LTE or Wi-Fi mobile devices and the associated base stations (nodes). This makes it possible to generate hand-over or load scenarios under defined conditions. The radio field test system offers connections for 2x 6 inputs (nodes) and 2x 5 outputs (OUT nodes) as well as for an additional 2x 3 hybrid couplers. The attenuation for each attenuator can be set from 0 dB to 95 dB in 1 dB steps.

Description

With the MTS standard coupling field SCF-0600 you can emulate the mobile radio coverage in your test laboratory. It works with most types of mobile phone standards such as GSM, UMTS, LTE or LTE advanced as well as with Wi-Fi connections. To avoid interference from the live network, the signals must be routed with cables directly from the various signal sources, e.g. BTS, eNodeB or signal generators etc. via the MTS SCF to the mobile devices.

The MTS standard coupling field series SCF-0600 is a special development in our range of air interface adapters. It combines the general function of two individual SCF-0300 devices with the aim of covering all possible frequency ranges in the field of mobile communications. The SCF-0600 emulates the radio coverage with 2x 6 inputs and 2x 5 outputs. Each path can be controlled by variable attenuators. In addition, 2x 3 hybrid couplers are integrated, with which the RF signals can be individually combined or split. Further details and wiring diagrams as follows.
