The sensitivity of mobile devices has increased dramatically in the last year. 4G or 5G devices can detect up to -127dBm, NB IOT applications even up to -145dBm. Very high RF shielding is required to test these technologies under defined conditions. MTS rack systems from the SRK series are a solution that, in combination with our shielding box systems (the MSB series), can achieve shielding attenuation values of >120 dB.

The main features are a shell-type housing, filtered interfaces, adapted RF cabling and the complete installation in and on the system.

The following variations are possible:

• 19″ rack system, height 42 U or 47 U, width 600 or 800 mm, depth 600 or 800 mm
• Integrated fan in the roof
• Connection panel in the roof for RF connections (N, SMA or 4.3-10)
• Connection panel on the rear for e.g. LAN, USB, fiber optic, 230V, DC etc.

The MTS 19″ EMC-Rack is a compact EMC screened ‘room’, to fulfil multipurpose requirements. It uses a four point locked system to close the door. The walls and the bottom plate are equipped with absorbers. The test devices can be put simply into the rack. The operation of the test samples can be done by using the numerous included communication interfaces.
